The analytical portal "Slovo i Dilo" has published an infographic with current water tariffs in the regional centers of Ukraine. Since the beginning of July 2026, new prices are already in effect throughout the country.
Water turned out to be the most expensive in Uzhhorod: the total tariff for water supply and sewerage with VAT is UAH 91.24/m³, which is 112.9% more than the previous one. Ternopil is in second place with UAH 87.33/m³ and an increase of 138%. Dnipro took third place: the total amount is UAH 81.92/m³ (plus 161.2%), of which UAH 47.10 is for water supply and UAH 34.82 for its disposal.
Immediately after Dnipro is Vinnytsia with a tariff of UAH 81.01/m³. It is there that the largest percentage jump among all cities was recorded: plus 216.2%. Zaporizhzhia, Rivne, Lutsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, and Cherkasy are in the range of 56 to 69 hryvnias per cubic meter.
The lowest tariffs among regional centers are in Kharkiv: UAH 24.51/m³. It is followed by Lviv with UAH 25.88/m³ and Khmelnytskyi with UAH 27.39/m³. In Kyiv, a cubic meter of water costs residents UAH 30.38.
