Feedback helps SHO#Dnipro correct mistakes, clarify stories and better understand readers’ needs. We accept reports about factual inaccuracies, complaints about stories, story ideas, technical problems and general comments about the newsroom’s work.

1. What you can write about

  • An error in a story: an incorrect date, name, address, number, quote, link or context.
  • A complaint: a possible breach of editorial standards, ethics, privacy or non-discriminatory language.
  • A story idea: an event, problem, human story or useful information for Dnipro and the region.
  • A technical problem: a website error, unavailable page, advertising issue, form problem or display issue.

2. What to include

To help us check your message faster, include a link to the story or page, briefly describe the issue, add a source or evidence if available, and leave a contact for follow-up questions. Anonymous messages may also be reviewed, but without contact details we may not be able to ask for clarification.

3. How we review messages

  • We check facts against primary sources, documents, official announcements or comments from relevant parties.
  • If an error is confirmed, we correct or update the story according to our Corrections Policy.
  • If a message concerns a complex ethical or legal issue, it is reviewed by a responsible editor.

4. Expected timing

We try to check factual errors in current news as quickly as possible. Other messages are usually reviewed within several business days. Complex complaints may take longer, especially when comments or documents are needed.

5. Contact channels

Write to us through the newsroom contact details on the Contact page. If your message concerns a person’s safety or sensitive information, please say so in the subject line.
