On the evening of July 12, a BMW motorcycle and a Chevrolet Niva collided on Hіmnazychny Avenue in Kamianske. Both drivers were unharmed, law enforcement reported.
According to the police, the 25-year-old motorcyclist misjudged the road situation, was traveling at an unsafe speed, and lost control of the motorcycle. He veered into the oncoming lane, where he collided head-on with a Chevrolet Niva driven by a 68-year-old driver. Both vehicles sustained serious mechanical damage.
An inspection revealed additional violations by the motorcyclist: he did not have a driver's license of the required category or a valid civil liability insurance policy.
He was issued a protocol under Art. 124 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for violating traffic rules, which resulted in damage to vehicles. By a separate administrative decision, he was charged under Part 2 of Art. 126 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for the absence of a license and insurance.
