The Dnipro City Council, through the municipal enterprise "eDnipro," urges residents to report locations where ragweed grows. This can be done using the "eDnipro" application.
The municipal enterprise explains: ragweed is a quarantine plant, not an ordinary weed. Its pollen can cause severe allergic reactions, difficulty breathing, watery eyes, and a general deterioration of well-being.
To report a found plant, you need to open the "Citizen Appeals" service in the application, go to the "Appeals to the Dnipro City Council" section, and submit an application with the exact location of the find. The appeal is then forwarded to the relevant service, and the progress of its consideration can be tracked directly in the application.
Ragweed is destroyed at the expense of the city budget only on communal property plots. On private households, as well as on plots belonging to enterprises, HOAs, and housing cooperatives, the owners themselves are responsible for detecting and eliminating quarantine plants.
The "eDnipro" municipal enterprise emphasizes: the sooner the signal is received, the faster the services will be able to take action and reduce the health risk for residents of neighboring territories.
In addition to the application, appeals are accepted by the Unified Hotline of the Dnipro City Council at 1530. The "eDnipro" application itself is available for download on App Store and Google Play.
