If a Dnipro resident misses the deadline for the metrological verification of their water meter, the device is deregistered - and instead of actual readings, charges are calculated based on consumption norms. This can increase the amount on the bill.
Ukrainian legislation mandates such verification every four years. Timely verification allows for accurate accounting of consumed water and avoids errors in billing.
KP "Dniprovodokanal" reminds residents to monitor deadlines. Together with SE "Dniprostadartmetrology," the enterprise offers verification on certified equipment.
Verification is carried out in two ways:
without dismantling - directly at the meter's installation site;
with dismantling - on stationary equipment.
