"PrivatBank" is putting three objects in Dnipro up for open bidding through Prozorro.Sales: the "Dnipro-Arena" stadium on Khersonska Street, the football training base in Prydniprovsk, and the "Pryozerny" shopping and entertainment center. All three came into the bank's possession due to unpaid credit debt that arose before the institution's nationalization.
The bank explains that these objects are not related to its core financial activities, and their maintenance requires significant funds. The sale is intended to reduce the volume of non-core assets and return the property to economic circulation; additional revenues are expected for the budget in the form of taxes and dividends.
Companies and individuals from sanctions lists, those with ties to risky jurisdictions, or those involved in financial irregularities will not be admitted to the auctions.
"Dnipro-Arena"
The arena was opened on September 14, 2008 - the reconstruction of the former "Metalurh" lasted from 2005. The stands have a capacity of 31,003 spectators. The field, measuring 105×68 meters, has lawn heating, automatic watering, and modern lighting; separately, there is a VIP box for almost 300 seats, a restaurant for 550 visitors, premises for teams, referees, and journalists, training and auxiliary zones.
Among the matches held here was a qualifying match for the 2010 World Cup between the national teams of Ukraine and England, which ended with the hosts' victory.
Training base in Prydniprovsk
The complex in the forest park area of Prydniprovsk was built in 1971; a large-scale reconstruction was carried out in 2010. It includes seven football fields - three with artificial turf and four natural - as well as an indoor arena with stands for 506 seats, a cottage town for athletes, office and residential buildings, a medical and rehabilitation center, a conference hall, a swimming pool, a gym, a sauna, and showers.
"Pryozerny" Shopping Center
The shopping and entertainment center was opened in 2009; its area exceeds 32 thousand square meters. The building houses retail and office spaces, warehouse zones, entertainment infrastructure, and underground parking. After the start of the full-scale war, the underground part attracted attention as a potential shelter during air raids.
The object transferred to "PrivatBank" in 2016 due to debt repayment - the acquisition cost amounted to over 778 million hryvnias.
