The Department of Humanitarian Policy of the Dnipro City Council announced open tenders for the major renovation of bathrooms at NVK No. 148 "Planeta Shchastia" (Planet of Happiness). The tender appeared in the Prozorro system on September 9. Participants can submit proposals until September 25, and the auction is scheduled for September 28.
The renovation involves a complete re-equipment of the premises: first, old partitions, tiles, flooring, and part of the doors will be dismantled. In their place, new partitions will be installed, waterproofing and screed will be laid, ceramic tiles will be installed, and doors and sanitary partitions will be mounted. The planned equipment includes wall-hung toilets, washbasins with artificial stone countertops, hand dryers, soap dispensers, and mirrors. In addition, the project covers utility networks: water supply, sewerage, ventilation, heating, and electricity.
Accessibility for people with limited mobility
A separate section of the project is dedicated to inclusivity. The bathroom on the first floor provides special equipment for visitors with limited mobility: handrails, a folding changing table, tactile elements, Braille signs, and a call button for staff. Non-slip flooring is designed throughout the entire facility.
Terms and financial conditions
The facility is located at 13 Volodymyr Antonovych Street. The procurement budget is UAH 12.1 million excluding VAT. The contractor is obliged to complete the work by October 1, 2027. Payment after signing the acts may take up to 120 calendar days, subject to the availability of budget funding. The deadline for final payment is December 25, 2027. A 10-year warranty period is established for the completed work.
This is not the first stage of renovation at the facility: according to the revised estimate, as of August 7, 2026, UAH 6.52 million has already been disbursed here within the framework of the previous phase of work.
