Kateryna Yavorska, a teacher from Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, has advanced to the final stage of the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2026. She is among ten teachers from various parts of Ukraine selected for the final round of the competition. The winner will be announced on October 3, 2026.
Yavorska teaches a wide range of subjects at school. Her teaching load includes:
History of Ukraine and World History
Civic Education and Jurisprudence
Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy
The winner of the main award will receive 1 million UAH. Finalists were selected based on a combination of criteria: professional achievements, ability to apply modern teaching approaches, and real impact on students and the school environment.
