On Thursday, October 3, the NGO "Running Atmosphere" is holding the "Steel Run" half marathon in the central part of Kryvyi Rih. Due to the race in the 95th quarter area, the city is introducing temporary traffic restrictions on several streets – from morning until the first half of the day.
When and where traffic will be blocked
The first phase of restrictions will begin at 06:30 and last until 08:00. During this period, Metalurhiv Avenue, on the section from the intersection with Heroes of ATO Street to Vitalii Matusevych Street, will be partially closed to private transport. Public passenger transport will operate without route changes on a specially designated lane during this time.
The second, full phase of closure is from 08:00 to 13:00. The following will be restricted:
Vilna Ichkeria Street from the intersection with Darvina Street to 95th Quarter Square and further along Metalurhiv Avenue to V. Matusevych Street;
Heroes of ATO Street;
Byzova Street to the intersection with Svyatoheorhiyivska Street.
At the same time, the section of Vilna Ichkeria Street from the intersection with Darvina Street towards Volodymyr Velykyi Square will remain open – including for passenger transport.
How bus routes will change
A number of bus routes will have temporary detours or shortenings:
Route №3: from the intersection of Universytetskyi Avenue with O. Vasyakina Street, it will follow O. Vasyakina Street - V. Matusevych Street - Metalurhiv Avenue - Sobornosti Street - Svyatoheorhiyivska Street - Volodymyr Byzov Street - Hetmanska Street - Darvina Street and then along its route.
Route №8: shortened route scheme "Kiltseva Square - V. Velykoho Square".
Route №203: from the intersection of Myru Avenue with Hetmanska Street, it will follow Hetmanska Street - Volodymyr Byzov Street - Svyatoheorhiyivska Street - Sobornosti Street - Metalurhiv Avenue - V. Matusevych Street - O. Vasyakina Street - Universytetskyi Avenue and then along its route.
Route №210: from the intersection of Metalurhiv Avenue with V. Matusevych Street, it will follow Metalurhiv Avenue - V. Matusevych Street - O. Vasyakina Street - Universytetskyi Avenue and then along its route.
Route №307: from the intersection of Universytetskyi Avenue with O. Vasyakina Street, it will follow O. Vasyakina Street - V. Matusevych Street - Metalurhiv Avenue - Sobornosti Street - Svyatoheorhiyivska Street - Volodymyr Byzov Street - Hetmanska Street - Darvina Street and then along its route.
Route №302: from the intersection of Myru Avenue with Hetmanska Street, it will follow Hetmanska Street - Volodymyr Byzov Street - Svyatoheorhiyivska Street - Sobornosti Street - Metalurhiv Avenue and then along its route.
Routes №217, 228, 228А, 240, 312, 397: from Defenders of Ukraine Square, they will move along Myru Avenue - Hetmanska Street - Darvina Street - to Vilna Ichkeria Street and then along their route.
Routes №208, 250, 255, 261: from Sotsmisto, they will follow Metalurhiv Avenue - Sobornosti Street - Svyatoheorhiyivska Street - Volodymyr Byzov Street - Hetmanska Street - Darvina Street - Vilna Ichkeria Street and then along their route.
Changes for trolleybuses
The trolleybus network will also undergo adjustments:
Trolleybus №24: will bypass the closed section along Metalurhiv Avenue - V. Matusevych Street - O. Vasyakina Street - Universytetskyi Avenue and then along its route in both directions.
Trolleybuses №1, 2: shortened route schemes "Kryvyi Rih-Holovnyi Station - Bus Station".
Trolleybuses №3, 23: shortened route schemes "Kiltseva Square - O. Khymychenka microdistrict (30-richchya Peremohy microdistrict)".
Trolleybus №5: shortened and changed route scheme "Elektrozavodska Tram Stop - Zavodska Street" (circular route): from Elektrozavodska Tram Stop via Korol Danylo Street (S. Rzyankina) - Eduard Fuchs Street - Mykola Svitalskyi Street - Zavodska Street - Mykola Svitalskyi Street - Viktor Otserklevych (Kurchatova) - Denys Fadyeyev (Kaspiyska) - Baidy Vyshnevetskoho - Korol Danylo Street - Elektrozavodska Tram Stop.

Alternative: tram
Residents who need to get to the 96th quarter, Metalurhiv Avenue, Kryvyi Rih station, or nearby streets on this day are advised to use tram routes №1M, 2M, 3M, 4M, and 14 – they will operate as usual.
