The Nikopol City Council reported on the inspection of one of the renovated shelters: Mayor Oleksandr Saiuk personally inspected the facility, the renovation of which was financed from the city budget.
According to Saiuk, the structure meets accessibility requirements. It has a bathroom, ventilation, internet connection, and everything people need to stay safe there.
"Work is currently underway at other facilities as well. We are consistently increasing the community's fund of protective structures, because in conditions of constant threat, this is one of our priorities," Oleksandr Saiuk noted.
The city authorities emphasize that the construction of new and renovation of existing protective structures in the city does not stop, so that residents have safe places when an air raid alert is announced.
