Oleksandr Hanzha, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, announced on July 10 that mandatory evacuation had been introduced in two more settlements in the region: Vasylkivka in Synelnykivskyi district and Vyshchetarasivka in Nikopolskyi district. He wrote about this on Telegram.
"Mandatory evacuation of all residents from two more settlements in the region has been introduced — Vasylkivka in Synelnykivskyi district and Vyshchetarasivka in Nikopolskyi district."
Children from both settlements were evacuated earlier. The day before, authorities decided that adults should also leave the dangerous areas. According to Hanzha, the evacuation affects over 6,500 civilians in total.
Initially, evacuees will be received at transit centers, where they will be provided with financial, legal, psychological, and medical assistance, as well as food and hygiene kits. If necessary, people will be helped with further resettlement.
"There are places for IDP accommodation both in safer areas of our region and in other regions of the country."
You can sign up for evacuation by calling 203 or 098 750 55 05; the lines are open 24/7.
