The morning attack on Kryvyi Rih affected one of "Nova Poshta's" logistics facilities – the company's sorting terminal was damaged. According to Nova Poshta itself, none of the employees were injured: during the attack, all personnel were in shelters set up directly on the facility's territory.
The most important thing is that our employees were not injured, as at the time of the attack, everyone was in shelters located on the territory of the logistics facility. The lives of our team and clients are an unconditional priority, the company reported.
Emergency services are currently working at the scene. Specialists are assessing the extent of the damage, including to cargo that may have been affected by the shelling.
Delivery did not stop
"Nova Poshta" denied information about large-scale disruptions in the network's operation. According to the company, after the terminal was damaged, backup logistics routes were activated, thanks to which transportation continues as usual.
"Over the years of the full-scale war, we have built a system that allows us to quickly respond to such challenges. The company has already activated backup logistics schemes, so parcel delivery is currently carried out without significant changes," Nova Poshta emphasized.
If necessary, the operating hours of individual facilities are adjusted according to the security situation.
Compensation for damaged parcels
Nova Poshta promised compensation of 100% of the declared value to owners of shipments that may have been lost or damaged. Representatives of the company will contact affected clients. Compensation can also be arranged independently through the national call center, which operates 24/7 at 0-800-500-609.
Clients can check the status of their shipments through the mobile application or the official Nova Poshta website.
