On the night of July 12-13, Russia attacked Ukraine with three Kh-59/69 missiles and 134 drones of various types. This was reported by the Air Force.
The attack began on the evening of July 12 at 6:00 PM. The enemy used Shahed drones, including jet-powered ones, as well as Gerbera, Italmas, and "Parody" drones. Launches were carried out from the airspace of temporarily occupied Crimea and from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, temporarily occupied Donetsk, Hvardiiske, and Chauda.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces were involved in repelling the attack.
According to preliminary data as of 09:30, all three Kh-59/69 missiles and 123 drones were shot down or suppressed. Six attack drones hit five locations, and fragments of downed drones fell in four other places.
In the morning, the enemy launched a repeated air strike on Odesa region. The consequences of both attacks are being clarified.
