New Russian drone units and increased aviation activity have been observed in the Novopavlivka direction. This was reported by a Ukrainian serviceman with the call sign "Muchnoy." According to him, the situation in this area, adjacent to the administrative border of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, continues to worsen.
Among the units that have arrived in the area, "Muchnoy" named the groups "Bely Krechet" and "Amur." Previously, they operated in the Lyman direction, performing deep reconnaissance tasks and tracking the logistical routes of Ukrainian forces. Now their work is focused on the Novopavlivka sector.
According to the serviceman, the tasks of Russian UAV operators in this area include:
identifying weaknesses in defense;
locating positions of Ukrainian military personnel;
recording routes of movement of equipment and personnel;
identifying hiding places and temporary deployment sites.
Thus, according to "Muchnoy," the enemy maintains continuous aerial surveillance, after which detected targets can be quickly brought under fire.
At the same time, the intensity of air strikes has increased. The serviceman noted that the use of guided aerial bombs FAB-500 has become more frequent in the area.
"Additionally, the Russians have significantly intensified air pressure. FAB-500 strikes have become more frequent, with some impacts recorded near NSS #2. Such activity indicates the enemy's attempts not only to destroy specific targets but also to create constant psychological and fire pressure on the area, destroying potential hiding places and complicating the movement of our forces."
Analysts and military personnel have repeatedly emphasized the strategic importance of the Novopavlivka direction due to its proximity to Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. According to "Muchnoy," the current concentration of reconnaissance and strike assets indicates that the enemy is paying increased attention to this sector. Such actions, in his opinion, may be part of preparations for intensified offensive operations, which increases risks for frontline communities and the southern districts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
