The high-risk zone around Dnipro has been doubled: if it previously covered about 50 km, it is now about 100 km. According to railway sources, when a heightened threat level is announced, train traffic within this radius stops.
Currently, two trains to Dnipro are stopped en route. The Odesa - Dnipro train was initially delayed by almost two hours, then received permission to proceed, but due to a new threat signal, it was stopped a second time. The two-group train Lviv/Truskavets - Dnipro is also stopped en route due to the same security situation.
Among other delays: train No. 88 Kovel - Dnipro is approximately 50 minutes late. The two-group train No. 120/80 Kholm - Lviv - Dnipro arrived 2 hours and 14 minutes late.
The day before, the situation was significantly worse – some trains were idle for 4 to 8 hours, which shifted the times of their subsequent departures from Dnipro.
Overall, the railway is currently operating in a relatively normal mode, according to railway sources. However, how the day unfolds will depend on the development of the security situation.
