On Kamianka City Day, September 11, the City History Museum will host the premiere screening of the documentary investigation film "EuroKryvbas". This will be the first public presentation of the film, and it will be attended by the authors themselves. The film focuses on entrepreneurs and engineers from Belgium, France, Britain, Germany, and Poland who, at the beginning of the 20th century, invested capital and knowledge in the industrialization of the region, laying the foundation for its industrial identity.

About the film
"EuroKryvbas" explores the European industrial heritage of the Kryvyi Rih Basin and surrounding territories. The name refers to Kryvbas – and at the same time to those who stood at its origins: foreign capitalists and specialists whose contribution remains little known to the general public. The event is primarily intended for researchers, historians, urbanists, and concerned citizens who are interested in looking at their native land through the prism of archival evidence and new interpretations.

The film was produced by the film company 435 FILMS together with the NGO "Agency for the Development of the Film Industry". The director and co-screenwriter is Maryna Tkachuk, creative producer and co-screenwriter is Korney Hrytsiuk, producer and co-screenwriter is Anna Palenchuk. The project was implemented with the financial support of the German Embassy in Ukraine and in partnership with Ghent University (Belgium). Registration for viewers.
