The updated schedule of Ukrzaliznytsia comes into effect on June 28, the carrier's Telegram channel reports. Ticket sales for the new schedule began on June 9.
In total, 12 new routes have been added, three trains have been accelerated, four routes have been extended to the mountains, and eight alternate-day routes have been changed to daily service.
Changes on individual routes
The flagship train No. 1/2 "Yednist" will run on the Kharkiv — Rakhiv route instead of Kharkiv — Vorokhta from June 29. This is the longest route of the flagship train in Ukraine — 1325 km. The train includes women's and children's carriages.
Route No. 55/56 on the Kyiv — Rakhiv direction will switch to daily service instead of alternate-day. The change will increase the number of seats on the route, which covers Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Yaremche, Tatariv, Vorokhta, Yasinya, Kvasy, and Rakhiv.
The "Sakura" train has new departure times: departure from the capital is now at 23:28 instead of 17:41. In the opposite direction, arrival in Khmelnytskyi is scheduled before midnight, and in Kyiv — at 06:09 instead of 09:58.
Route No. 113/114 Kharkiv — Uzhhorod switches to an "alternate day" mode instead of "by date" — this is a more convenient option for passengers from Kharkiv and Poltava traveling to Rivne, Lutsk, and cities in Zakarpattia. The parallel route No. 45/46 on the same direction changes its route through Podillia, which will allow residents of Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, and Ternopil to reach Zakarpattia at a convenient time.
Routes No. 137/138 and No. 142/141 have been extended to Yasinya station: the first now runs as Kyiv — Yasinya instead of Kyiv — Ivano-Frankivsk, the second — as Chernihiv — Yasinya instead of Chernihiv — Ivano-Frankivsk.
