An indictment has been sent to the court regarding a 29-year-old woman from Dnipro, whom the police suspect of thefts from two stores in one shopping center in the Chechelivskyi district of the city.
According to the police, both incidents occurred on May 31st of the same day. The suspect entered a clothing store, selected items, and went to the fitting room, where she tore off tags and security magnets, put the goods in her bag, and left without paying. After that, she went to a neighboring store in the same shopping center and did the same.
The total amount of damages from both thefts was about 10 thousand hryvnias. The woman has been charged under Part 4 of Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for liability for theft. The pre-trial investigation has been completed, and the case has been referred to court.
