From August 1, Spanish Renfe will operate daily between Przemyśl and Frankfurt am Main. Seats in sitting carriages start from €15, in Economy Sleeper sleeping carriages from €37.50, reports Nashe Misto with reference to the Telegram channel of Ukrzaliznytsia.
The route was launched after the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between Ukrzaliznytsia and Renfe. Connecting transfers are provided for passengers from Dnipro: train No. 31/32 Zaporizhzhia/Dnipro-Przemyśl can be used to reach Przemyśl, and from there, transfer to an international flight to Frankfurt.
Connecting transfers in Przemyśl are organized for five Ukrainian trains:
No. 51/52 Kyiv-Przemyśl
No. 31/32 Zaporizhzhia/Dnipro-Przemyśl
No. 69/70 Kremenchuk-Przemyśl
No. 35/36 Odesa-Przemyśl
No. 89/90 Kyiv-Przemyśl
The train passes through Krakow, Ostrava, Prague, and Dresden, as well as through Bad Schandau, Weißenfels, Naumburg (Saale), Apolda, Gotha, Eisenach, Hanau, and Offenbach.
Schedule
From Przemyśl, the train departs at 12:04, arrives in Krakow at 15:03, in Prague at 18:14, in Dresden at 22:32, and in Frankfurt am Main at 07:22. In the opposite direction, departure from Frankfurt at 15:03, a stop in Prague at 01:17, arrival in Przemyśl at 11:25.
Travel conditions
Economy Sleeper sleeping carriages have compartments for 1-4 people, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, power outlets, and breakfast included in the ticket price. You can choose a mixed compartment or a women-only compartment. The train also has first and second-class carriages with seating.
