During the day, from the morning of September 8 to the morning of September 9, Russian troops launched a series of attacks on several districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Two men were killed, and at least ten more people were injured or wounded. The facts are recorded by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region.
Nikopol district: casualties and attack on rescuers
The first fatal strike occurred around 7:00 AM in Nikopol. A UAV dropped ammunition on a private house - shrapnel wounded a couple: a 50-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man. Both were taken to the hospital in critical condition, but the man died from his injuries.
After 12:30 PM, an FPV drone struck the village of Pokrovska rural community. A 65-year-old man sustained severe injuries and died on the way to the medical facility.
A separate episode was an attack on rescuers: enemy drones deliberately struck a fire truck and a State Emergency Service team that was extinguishing a fire from a previous strike. Two service employees were injured.
In total, three more women aged 18, 45, and 53 were injured in the district during the day. Over 100 drone and artillery strikes were recorded in the settlements of Nikopol region during the day.
Dnipro and other districts
On September 9, drones attacked Dnipro. Among the three injured was a 15-year-old teenager. All received medical assistance. The strike damaged private houses, a multi-story building, several cars, and a warehouse with building materials. A reception point has been set up at the impact sites where residents can submit applications for damaged property.
A separate incident in Dnipro occurred on September 8: a fire broke out after an impact, and a 31-year-old woman was injured.
In the Kryvyi Rih district on September 8, the enemy used drones and guided aerial bombs against the Zelenodolska and Hrushivska communities - one woman was injured, and damage to private houses and cars was recorded. In the Synelnykivskyi district, one woman also required medical assistance.
