On the morning of September 10, Dnipro came under attack: Russian troops used "Banderol" type loitering munitions, directing them towards the Dnipropetrovsk region. At 9:08 AM, an explosion was heard in the city. The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, promptly confirmed the attack.
"The enemy attacked Dnipro. A fire broke out in the city. We are clarifying information about casualties," Hanzha wrote in his message.
Information about casualties, injuries, and the extent of destruction remains unknown at the time of publication. Emergency services may be working at the scene.
During the attack, an air raid alert was in effect in Dnipro and the Dnipropetrovsk region. Residents of the city and region are advised not to leave shelters until the official all-clear signal.
