According to the Dnipropetrovsk OVA, on June 8, Russian troops shelled Nikopol and Pavlohrad district in the afternoon. As a result of the attacks, one person was killed and five more were injured, stated the head of the administration, Oleksandr Hanzha.
In Nikopol, a 49-year-old woman became a victim of the shelling. Four other residents of the city were injured: two of them — women aged 53 and 60 — are in the hospital in serious condition and are receiving medical care. A multi-story residential building, a bank branch, and a shop were damaged in the city.
In addition, the Dnipro OVA reported shelling in the Pavlohrad district: two gas stations were hit. At one of them, equipment was damaged, and several cars caught fire on the territory. A 62-year-old man was injured and hospitalized in a moderately severe condition.
