Kryvyi Rih company LLC "Ekospetstrans" plans to change the cost of household waste collection services. According to "Pershy Kryvorizkyi", the tariff for city residents may increase by almost 50%. The final decision will be made by the executive committee of the Kryvyi Rih City Council.
The company explained that the revision of prices is due to the increase in resource costs: fuel has risen by 78%, gasoline by 33%, spare parts by 12%, and repair work by 28%. "Ekospetstrans" noted that the current tariffs no longer cover the company's expenses.
If the new prices are approved, residents of multi-story buildings will pay UAH 62 per person instead of UAH 42.68. For the private sector, the fee will change from UAH 42.70 to UAH 62.74.
The detailed breakdown by tariff components is as follows:
collection of mixed waste: from UAH 16.50 to UAH 20.40;
transportation of mixed waste: from UAH 136.74 to UAH 201.12;
disposal of mixed waste: from UAH 28.50 to UAH 39.60.
"As a result, the total tariff for the population for mixed household waste management will increase from UAH 181.74 to UAH 261.12 per cubic meter, which is approximately 43.7%," the statement says.
