On the night of June 9, in Kamianske, ambulance paramedics delivered a baby right in the mother's apartment. A 26-year-old city resident, who was not under medical supervision at a women's clinic, contacted them. This was her third delivery, and the pregnancy was premature, at 32 weeks.
Paramedic Yulia Maiboroda and emergency medical technician Mykhailo Bespalov responded to the call. When the team arrived, labor had already begun. A few minutes later, a baby girl was born.
The newborn's condition was assessed at 8 points on the Apgar scale, indicating satisfactory breathing, pulse, and reflexes. For a premature baby, this is a good result. The medics performed the initial care for the infant and processed the umbilical cord.
After providing assistance, the mother and baby, in satisfactory condition, were transported to city maternity hospital No. 9.
