The ninth stage of the government microcredit project "Vlasna Sprava" (Own Business) has concluded. From May 4 to May 17, 2026, 25 entrepreneurs from the Dnipropetrovsk region received state funding to open or expand their businesses. The region expects new establishments, modernization of production facilities, and the creation of additional jobs.
Kamianske and Verkhnodniprovsk
In Kamianske, a business relocated from Mariupol will use grant funds to renovate a children's development space. Plans include installing an interactive light covering for games and learning, with special attention to children from displaced families.
In Verkhnodniprovsk, the received funds will be used to equip a gym with a full set of equipment—for both athletes and beginners.
Dnipro
Medical facilities in the regional center will update their equipment: a cosmetology clinic will expand, new aesthetic medicine offices will appear, and a surgical unit for day surgeries will be created in one of the medical centers. A braiding services studio will also open, and the Eco-club "YUMI," specializing in the safe development and socialization of children, will receive new equipment.
In the industrial and service sectors, funds will go towards developing production of home textiles, designer women's clothing, aluminum structures, swimming products, and orthopedic bras for women after oncological operations. Grants were also awarded to two construction and repair companies, an accounting firm, and a coffee shop.
In retail, a flower boutique and an online platform for dietary products are expanding; an online store for shoes and clothing for children and adults, and a specialized shop for gardeners are launching.
Kryvyi Rih, Samar, and Hubynykha
In Kryvyi Rih, a store for beauty masters will expand its assortment, a logistics company will update its technical base, and a barbershop will open for men.
