The utility company "Aulsky Vodovid" of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council uses a robotic diagnostic complex to check the condition of sewer networks in Kamianske. This equipment was received within the framework of an international partnership program.
The inspection is carried out in the left-bank district of the city, where pipelines have been in operation for over 50 years. The goal is to prevent accidents.
The company noted that the use of robotic technology for inspecting sewer networks is a modern standard. This allows for diagnosing pipes and avoiding accidents without extensive excavation work.
The robot is equipped with a video camera and a scanner. It moves inside the pipe and transmits a clear video image to the operator's console. Based on the received data, engineers identify the most worn-out sections and include them in the repair plan.
