On June 11, traffic significantly slowed down on the approach to the Central (New) Bridge from the left bank. A car stopped in the middle of the lane due to a technical malfunction, and its activated hazard lights blocked part of the roadway, leading to a build-up of cars heading towards the right bank.
The incident was reported by the Dnipro Situational Center.
"Traffic congestion is observed at the entrance to the Central Bridge in the direction of the right bank. The reason is a car that stopped in the lane due to a technical malfunction."
The situation is further complicated by peak road usage. City services recommend that drivers take the traffic jam into account and, if possible, use alternative routes:
Amursky Bridge — for travel to the right bank;
Kaidaсky Bridge with exit to central districts;
Naberezhna Zavodska and Naberezhna Peremohy for bypassing the congested area;
streets in the direction of the Old Bridge with traffic redistribution.
Drivers are also advised to maintain distance and monitor road conditions for updates.
