In the Shevchenkivskyi district of Dnipro, in the autumn of 2026, a sequential closure of two streets - Vykonkomska and Shevchenka - is planned. Both sections will be closed for repair work.
Where and when traffic will be blocked
Vykonkomska Street will be the first to undergo repairs: traffic on the section from Shevchenka Street to Starokozatska Street will be closed from September 14 to September 29, 2026, for 15 days. In addition to the road surface, the storm sewer will also be repaired here.
Immediately after this, from September 29 to October 6, 2026, Shevchenka Street will be closed - the section between Sichovykh Striltsiv Street and Vykonkomska Street. This stage will last 8 days, and its purpose is to repair the road surface.
What is provided for safety
Before the start of each stage, the Department of Urban Improvement and Infrastructure of the Dnipro City Council is obliged to coordinate temporary traffic schemes and road safety measures with the patrol police.
Fencing, temporary road signs, and signal lighting will be installed at the work sites.
A safe passage will be organized for pedestrians.
After the completion of repairs, the contractors will restore the asphalt pavement and tidy up the adjacent territory.
The basis for the closures is the draft orders of the Dnipro City Mayor, which grant the Department of Urban Improvement and Infrastructure of the Dnipro City Council the corresponding permission.
