Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipro Regional Military Administration, organized a meeting in Nikopol region, attended by representatives of the regional and district leadership, local communities, military personnel, law enforcement officers, and rescuers. Hanzha reported this himself.
Meeting agenda
The first issue was the safety of residents. Anti-drone nets are being installed in Nikopol and Marhanets to protect against enemy drones. Currently, 18 kilometers have already been equipped, and work continues.
The second issue concerned evacuation from the most dangerous areas of the district. Hanzha emphasized the importance of continuing outreach work with those who still remain.
"Leaving your home is an extremely difficult decision. But the main thing is to save lives," says the head of the Dnipro Regional Military Administration.
The repair of roads, which are important for military and civilian logistics, was also discussed. Some of them require urgent repair.
Appointment of the new head of Nikopol RVA
Oleksandr Hanzha introduced the newly appointed head of the Nikopol RVA, Kostiantyn Simonov, to the meeting participants. "I expect maximum involvement and quick reaction from him to the challenges that this frontline district faces every day," Hanzha wrote.
