The tragedy occurred on the evening of June 28 at a body of water in the city of Pokrov, Dnipropetrovsk region. This was reported by the regional center for emergency medical care and disaster medicine.
According to preliminary data, the family was relaxing near the water. While swimming, a boy and his father found themselves in danger — both began to drown. Witnesses pulled the child ashore and provided first aid before the ambulance arrived. Unfortunately, the man could not be saved.
The ambulance crew that arrived at the scene stabilized the boy's condition and supported his vital functions. After an examination at the Central City Hospital, the child was transferred to the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Children's Hospital for further treatment.
