In the evening, a passenger car sank in the waters of the Dnipro River, near Narvska Street in the Novokodatsky district of the city. Units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast promptly responded to the call. Divers examined the bottom and found the vehicle approximately 10 meters from the shore at a depth of 10 meters. The car and the body inside were brought to the surface and delivered to the shore.
Inside the sunken car, rescuers found the body of a man born in 1946. After being raised, he was handed over to the National Police. Law enforcement officers are currently investigating the circumstances of how the vehicle ended up in the water.
