A sharp deterioration in weather is expected in the Dnipropetrovsk region on July 8. Forecasters and rescuers warn of thunderstorms, squalls, and possible hail. A yellow level of danger has been introduced due to the predicted weather phenomena in the morning and afternoon in Dnipro, Kamianske, and throughout the region.
During thunderstorms, wind gusts can reach 15–20 m/s. Significant precipitation is forecast for the right-bank part of the region, which includes Kamianske: in a short time, its amount can range from 15 to 49 mm. Hail with a diameter of 6–19 mm is also possible in some areas.
Rescuers warn that heavy downpours and squalls can cause flooding of low-lying road sections and complicate traffic. Drivers are advised to maintain a safe distance, carefully monitor the road, and not leave cars under trees or near advertising structures. Pedestrians are advised to avoid power lines during bad weather and wait out squalls in capital buildings.
