The Zavodsky District Court of Kamianske issued a ruling regarding a local resident who had not paid alimony for over nine years. The debt, recorded as of May 19, 2026, amounted to UAH 477,434.60 - more than six months' worth of payments.
Enforcement proceedings were initiated in June 2017. The man systematically ignored calls from the state enforcement service. When the bailiff arrived at his home, the doors remained closed, so it was never possible to verify the debtor's financial status.
He also failed to appear at the court hearing, although he was duly informed of the date and time of the proceedings. The court examined the case materials without his participation and qualified his actions under Part 1 of Article 183-1 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses - non-payment of alimony, which resulted in arrears lasting more than six months.
The punishment is 120 hours of community service. Additionally, the court ordered the man to pay a court fee of UAH 665.60.
