Kamianka District Military Administration published instructions for those who are at a gas station during an air raid alert. The reason for this was the increasing enemy strikes on Ukrainian gas stations.
The administration's main advice: even if the threat seems distant, it's not worth risking. The primary action is to immediately drive away from the gas station to a safe distance. According to the administration, the open area of a gas station remains dangerous even when a person is formally away from direct impact.
If possible, it is recommended to leave the car and go to a shelter. Before leaving the car, you need to turn off the engine, take the keys, and take your documents, phone, first aid kit, and emergency bag with you. The car should be locked: unattended cars attract looters and can be damaged by an explosive wave.
The administration does not recommend waiting for the refueling to finish during an alert.
