About the museum
The institution at the Petrykivka Center of Folk Art was opened on December 13, 2010. The halls contain samples of authentic painting, and a significant part of the exposition covers the golden period of the craft.
Here are presented works by masters who at one time worked at the "Druzhba" folk crafts factory: Vasyl Sokolenko, the Pank family, Hanna Samarska, Fedir Hlushchenko, Nina Nahai, Nadiia Horbulia, Mariia Masiukevych, the Pikush family, and others.
The core of the collection consists of lacquerware from the Soviet period made of wood: plates, caskets, spoons, and kitchen sets, as well as painted canvases. The most valuable exhibit is considered to be a catalog of works by the People's Artist of Ukraine Hanna Samarska with a variety of flowers, leaves, and berries.
