Emergency medical personnel saved a 33-year-old resident of Samara in the Dnipropetrovsk region: the man suddenly developed a life-threatening arrhythmia. This was reported by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Center for Emergency Medicine and Disaster Medicine.
The call to "103" came in on the morning of July 5. The man complained of heart pain and difficulty breathing. The team found him conscious, but his condition was assessed as severe. The patient himself said that he had trained a lot and consumed energy drinks the day before.
Examination revealed ventricular tachycardia — a condition that required immediate action. Medics performed pain relief and sedation, after which they conducted synchronized electrical cardioversion. The heart rhythm was restored after the second discharge.
The stabilized patient was hospitalized to the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Clinical Center for Diagnostics and Treatment, where he is currently under medical supervision.
