On August 8, passengers of Ukrzaliznytsia whose trains have changed their route or schedule can board any company train until the end of the day - a new ticket is not required. The existing ticket is also valid for boarding replacement electric trains without additional payment.
Stations and replacement electric trains
For passengers who need to get to Kamianske-Pasazhyrske, Verkhivtseve, Vilnohirsk, or Verkhnodniprovsk, three replacement electric trains depart from Dnipro:
No. 6035 Dnipro - Post Spysannia, departure at 16:42
No. 6037 Dnipro - Pyatykhatky, departure at 17:34
No. 6043 Dnipro - Pyatykhatky, departure at 20:20
Passengers of five long-distance routes whose routes have been changed can use these electric trains:
No. 32 Przemyśl - Zaporizhzhia
No. 86 Lviv - Dnipro
No. 286 Lviv - Dnipro
No. 42 Truskavets - Dnipro
No. 40 Solotvyno - Zaporizhzhia
Bus transfers have been organized on the Kryvyi Rih - Dnipro, Pyatykhatky - Dnipro, and Lozova - Orelka sections with the support of local authorities.
Restrictions on the western direction
Some trains in the western direction have been temporarily shortened to Ternopil or Lviv due to delays - further travel with a transfer. This applies, in particular, to routes No. 41/42 Dnipro - Truskavets, No. 87/88 Dnipro - Kovel, No. 83/84 Dnipro - Mukachevo, and others.
The reason for the changes is the deteriorating security situation in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia directions. The announcement was published on August 7, 2026, and the changes came into effect on August 8.
Ukrzaliznytsia recommends arriving at the stations in advance, monitoring announcements and messages in the company's application, and complying with safety requirements.
