Russian strikes on railway infrastructure have claimed the lives of railway workers and destroyed locomotives, passenger cars, and tracks, reports the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia. Due to the scale of the destruction, the company is forced to urgently rebuild logistics and revise its schedule.
Since August 27, Ukrzaliznytsia has suspended ticket sales for a number of dates and destinations. Tickets from Dnipro and Kamianske to the western regions of Ukraine are currently unavailable. Sales will resume after specialists finalize new safe routes – the company has not specified exact dates.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, changes have affected several key routes: passengers will have to travel via detours with additional transfers.
