Two residents of Kryvyi Rih received suspended sentences for robbing a retail kiosk. The court sentenced each of them to one year of probation. If the convicts violate the law again, they face real imprisonment for five years, reports SVOYI. Kryvyi Rih.
The crime occurred in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Two men entered the retail kiosk through a dog opening in the wall or door. One of them crawled inside and passed goods out, while his accomplice waited nearby and received the stolen items.

At the court hearing, the defendants stated that they initially did not plan to steal. According to court materials, the men explained that the kiosk was closed that day, and they interpreted this as a "sign of fate" – a reason to commit theft.
