The National Police of Ukraine has not made any official statements regarding the morning events of August 11 in Dnipro and Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. All that is currently known comes from local Telegram channels.
According to their reports, law enforcement officers began a second wave of searches and arrests that morning. The investigative actions, according to the same unofficial information, are allegedly related to the uncovering of an illegal call center scheme.
These structures, according to the channels, could have been involved in fraud against citizens of European Union countries.
Telegram channels list the following actions within the current wave: searches, detention of suspects, investigative actions regarding the operation of call centers, and collection of evidence of possible fraudulent activity. The number of objects covered and people detained is not reported.
"Other details and results of the investigative actions are currently unknown," the same channels report. Clarification will appear if the police or other competent authorities provide official information.
