On September 5, 2026, the Dnipro district suffered a Russian attack using a "Banderol" type drone. One man was killed. The fact of the attack was confirmed by the Dnipro OVA and the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, which is conducting procedural supervision in the case.
As a result of the shelling, five people were injured - all were hospitalized. Two of them are in critical condition: one in serious, the other in extremely serious condition. In addition to human casualties, a car service station was damaged.
A criminal case has been opened regarding the attack under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - an article that provides for responsibility for war crimes. The proceedings are being conducted by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
