The locomotive of the Dnipro - Vinnytsia train was hit on September 9 in the afternoon on a railway section in Kamianske district - at that time an air raid alert was active over the region. The target of the attack was the train's locomotive.
Immediately after the hit, power disappeared on both tracks on the section. There were no reports of casualties at the time of publication, and the circumstances and extent of the damage are being clarified.
Suburban train delays
Due to security measures introduced after the incident, the departure of two suburban trains was delayed.
Train No. 6124/6123 Dnipro-Holovnyi - Synelnykove-1 departed from Dnipro-Holovnyi station with a 30-minute delay.
Train No. 6507 Pyatykhatky-Pasazhyrska - Rokuvata departed from Zhovti Vody-1 station with a 50-minute delay.
