Starting in July 2026, the Museum of the History of Kamianske will host an exhibition tracing the transformation of Ukrainian military uniforms over several centuries: from early medieval druzhynnyky and 15th–16th century knights to soldiers of the Ukrainian People's Republic, UPA, and current defenders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The core of the exhibition will consist of 20 informational banners with detailed reproductions of uniforms from different eras. Alongside them, visitors will see war artifacts from museum collections, as well as a selection of quotes from prominent figures: among them Volodymyr Monomakh, Ivan Mazepa, Oleh Kutsyna, and Kyrylo Budanov.
The project was prepared jointly by scholars from the Institute of National Memory, military-historical reconstructors, and modern defenders of Ukraine. Researchers from Kyiv, Lviv, and Vinnytsia, as well as servicemen from the 412th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade, the 3rd Army Corps, and the 93rd Mechanized Brigade "Kholodnyi Yar," participated in the work on the exhibition.
