A new thematic layer - "City medical facilities with 40+ screening" - has appeared on the "Open Map of Dnipro" portal. It allows you to quickly find a facility for free examination under the state program "Health Screening 40+".
The program covers Ukrainians aged 40 and over and aims to detect cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and mental disorders. Examinations are free of charge.
To use the service, simply open the "Open Map of Dnipro", select the category "City medical facilities with 40+ screening" in the filters, and view the facilities on the map. The address of each facility is displayed there, and a route can be built immediately.
The updated electronic map was developed by specialists of the "eDnipro" municipal enterprise. In parallel, specialists of the city council are modernizing the medical information system used by doctors of communal health care institutions.
Andriy Pryhozhyn, director of the relevant department of the city council, noted that the development of digital services remains one of the city's priorities.
"Thanks to the system update, information about screening automatically goes to the electronic health care system. This allows doctors to spend less time on technical work and paperwork, and more - directly on communicating with patients and providing medical care. Our task is to make access to important services as simple and clear as possible for people. Now residents do not need to search for information on different websites or call medical institutions. All necessary data is collected in one place and available in a few clicks on the "Open Map of Dnipro"," Andriy Pryhozhyn noted.
The issue of integrating medical services with the city's electronic system is being worked out separately: residents will be able to view their own medical data from their smartphone. According to Pryhozhyn, the city is open to connecting all medical information systems to provide unified access to data regardless of which facility the patient is served in.
"We are consistently uniting city services into a single digital ecosystem. Today, through the "eDnipro" application, users can quickly receive important information, including their own medical data. This is another step towards creating a convenient digital environment for every resident of the city," Andriy Pryhozhyn emphasized.
Currently, the "Open Map of Dnipro" is in the active content filling and beta testing stage, but it is already open to all users and fully performs its functions. The platform is replenished with new objects and layers according to the requests of citizens.
The "eDnipro" application is available for download on App Store and Google Play.
