Individual clients of PrivatBank can now exchange currency online in Privat24 for up to UAH 200,000 per month. Previously, the monthly ceiling was UAH 50,000, meaning the limit has quadrupled.
This change is based on a decision by the National Bank of Ukraine, which came into effect on August 11, 2026. On the same day, PrivatBank implemented the updated conditions, and all new limits are already active in the Privat24 application.
Payments with a hryvnia card abroad for goods, works, and services are now also limited to UAH 200,000 per month; previously, it was UAH 100,000. SWIFT transfers from foreign currency accounts for the purchase of goods and services abroad for personal needs are also included in this same ceiling: both operations share a common limit.
The limit for withdrawing cash foreign currency from foreign currency accounts both in Ukraine and abroad has been increased from UAH 100,000 to UAH 200,000 per day. Separately: the limit for non-cash online currency exchange is updated on the first day of each month and does not affect the limit for card payments abroad.
The highest of the new limits - UAH 500,000 per month has been set for paying for housing rent and accommodation services abroad. It is valid only when transferring from a foreign currency account and covers both SWIFT transfers and card payments.
