Dnipro resident Oleksandr Veksel wins bronze at World Chess Composition Championship

Oleksandr Veksler from Dnipro won a bronze medal in the U14 category at the 49th World Chess Solving Championship in Magdeburg (Germany).

In the team standings, the Ukrainian national team finished fourth. Six athletes represented the country at the tournament:

• Oleksii Solovchuk (Poltava)

• Stanislav Vasyliv (Poltava)

• Taras Rudenko (Poltava)

• Nika Riabenko (Poltava)

Taras Rudenko from Poltava took third place among juniors in the U23 category and met the standards for obtaining the title of International Master.
