52 people were injured, five died (the death toll was updated at 18:02) - these figures were published by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA, Oleksandr Hanzha, as of 17:46. Among the injured are six children.
The attack was carried out by an attack drone on the largest shopping complex in Kryvyi Rih, located in the city center. The attack was confirmed by the head of the City Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul.
The shopping center was damaged, and shops inside caught fire.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk, called the attack "conscious terror against peaceful people": the strike occurred "in broad daylight" at a place where there are always many people, families, and children.
An emergency rescue operation has begun at the scene, and medics are providing immediate assistance to the victims. According to Hanzha's preliminary report at 17:15, there were 15 injured - this number subsequently rose to 52.
Updated at 6:18 p.m.: The number of casualties from the enemy attack on Kryvyi Rih has risen to 91. Twenty-one of the wounded are in critical condition, including one child.
