Law enforcement neutralized a criminal group that organized an extensive drug syndicate with its own production and distribution of prohibited substances. This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
The network operated in five regions: Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, and Kyiv. The monthly income from one drug laboratory exceeded 80 million hryvnias.
Organizers and operational scheme
The group was led by two individuals: a 23-year-old woman from Odesa region, who had a previous conviction for drug-related crimes, and a 25-year-old Kyiv resident. Both are currently abroad and managed the network remotely. In each of the five regions, they established separate cells where hired personnel worked under the supervision of curators.
Distribution was organized through a specialized online store. Orders were delivered by mail throughout the country or transferred via a system of hidden "stashes." Psychotropic substances were produced by their own laboratory, supervised by one of the group members.
Seized items and procedural actions
During searches, police seized:
about 30 kilograms of finished drugs and psychotropic substances;
200 liters of liquid narcotics;
precursors from which about 1 ton of prohibited goods was planned to be produced.
Nine members of the group have been charged with serious crimes. Two of them were charged in absentia, as they are outside Ukraine. Investigative actions are ongoing.
