The Pidhorodnenska city community still lacks centralized water supply. Residents use wells and private boreholes, the water from which does not meet sanitary standards, according to Anti-Corruption Prydniprovya.
The Pidhorodnenska City Council has announced a tender for the construction of a water pipeline from the networks of KP "Dniprovodokanal" to Pidhorodne. The cost of the works according to the tender documentation is UAH 98,475,606.00.
It is expected that the new water pipeline will provide residents with stable and high-quality water supply, stimulate the creation of new jobs, and reduce the burden on local businesses, which currently independently ensure the sanitary condition of their own production facilities.
Technical parameters of the object: length - about 10,410 meters, design capacity - 6,278 cubic meters per day. The pipeline will be made of polyethylene pipes with a diameter of 315 mm, and a chamber will be installed on Donetske Highway.

Excavation and backfilling of soil, arrangement of a sand cushion.
Laying of the pipeline with hydraulic testing, flushing, and disinfection.
Arrangement of water wells with diameters of 1000 mm, 1500 mm, and 2000 mm.
Arrangement of crossings under roads, driveways, a canal, and a river using trenchless methods and horizontal directional drilling.
Arrangement of a water metering unit chamber KV1-1 with the installation of a combined cold water meter and remote data transmission devices.
Restoration of asphalt concrete, crushed stone, and paving slab coverings over an area of more than 7,600 m², disturbed during the laying of networks.
Applications are accepted until August 21, 2026. The winner must complete all works by December 31, 2028; the duration of execution is no more than 9 months.
Which streets will receive water
According to the project documentation, centralized water supply should appear on Mezhova, Sevastopolska, Lytvyshka, Kharkivska, Komsomolska, Poshtova, and Partyzanska streets, in 1-1 Pisenny Lane, and on Pioner Square. The list of streets in the documentation is not exhaustive.
