103 Ukrainian servicemen have returned home from Russian captivity. The youngest of them is 26 years old, the oldest is 59. The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported that most of those released suffered serious injuries or have severe health problems acquired in captivity.
Who returned
Among those released are soldiers, sergeants, and officers from five law enforcement agencies:
Armed Forces of Ukraine
Naval Forces of Ukraine
National Guard of Ukraine
State Border Guard Service of Ukraine
Territorial Defense of Ukraine
Where the released fought
The warriors defended Ukraine in seven directions:
Luhansk
Donetsk
Kharkiv
Zaporizhzhia
Kherson
Sumy
Dnipropetrovsk
The latest exchange took place on the instructions of the Head of State, with the participation of relevant structures, and with the support of the USA and the UAE.
Upon their return, the released will undergo medical examination and rehabilitation, and will receive state-provided payments.
The Coordination Headquarters continues its work to find and return everyone who remains in captivity.
